Are you interested in participating?
We’re a friendly group that usually attends, and we don’t bite!
Congress lectures during the day for 3 days (a link to the program will be shared), evening events all 3 days (entertainment, food and drink, optional participation). Welcome cocktail at Hotel Botanico on Monday. Gala dinner with formal attire on the final day (Thursday).
The congress hotel has not yet been decided for the Scandinavian group. Hotel Botanico is the official congress hotel, but many stay elsewhere. I personally will be staying at RF San Borondon. They offer half board for about NOK 740 per night.
If Norwegian flies next year, we will likely book with them.
If you’re in the zoo industry, this is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded people in the same field, veterinarians, and breeders.
You’ll also have the chance to visit the breeding facility of the world’s largest parrot collection. It’s an experience you won’t forget!
The congress website is under development, but general questions can be directed to congreso@loroparque.com.
The congress fee is 525 Euros (approx. NOK 6000), lower for companions who only attend the evening events. It includes bus transport to/from lectures, the lectures themselves, the evening events, and free entry to Loro Parque during the congress.
Airfare will be between NOK 9000–10 000, unless we negotiate a better group rate. Including flights and hotel, the congress and stay will cost around NOK 22,000. Airport transfers are not included, but will be a few hundred NOK each way.
